I remember as a kid in the late 60’s being dropped off at the local ‘flicks’ in Woking, Surrey, UK by my parents to watch Saturday afternoon matinees with my brother. I recall they were films like ‘Hercules’ with Steve Reeves. I loved the magic of it all, and for two hours I could actually be Hercules. Perhaps that is where the passion was born?
Filmmaking is what I love to do. It is a passion that will never die in me. I want to move and inspire people the way other filmmakers’ films have moved and inspired me. I am also what they call a hyphenate; a writer, producer and a director. And although I am not necessarily all those things at once, I can bring those elements to the table individually or as a whole. I am also a line producer capable of budgeting and scheduling any feature film, digital or celluloid.
Where my strength lies as a filmmaker is in being able to surround myself with the best team of people, experts in their particular field. I think a wise man knows where his weaknesses lie and a fool only knows his strengths.
